Stratford Students Volunteer with Indian Association for the Blind (IAB)

At Stratford, students are regularly encouraged to take up co-curricular activities. Volunteering with non-profits and NGOs is an activity which many students take up to enhance their personality and knowledge. It is a great opportunity and privilege that we have received a request from Indian Association for Blind, for our contribution for the White Cane Day 2016.

Indian Association for Blind has been doing a commendable work by providing comprehensive rehabilitation, education and employment opportunities to empower visually challenged people to become self – reliant.
In an endeavour to extend our contribution to IAB, we have formed a group of student volunteers who are raising funds for the same.

There can be many more students joining us for this noble cause that would not only benefit the visually challenged but empower and enrich all of us. Brenda, one of our graduate students shares about her experience:

My experience of raising funds for the Indian Association for blind has been amazing. I feel good when I get to share my love and support for the disabled because it helps me make them know that they are valued by us.

Please share this post with your friends at Stratford to enable us to take this message to all students and get more volunteers for this noble project.
